Reverend Camden helps a new family in the congregation who has a son suffering from Tourette's Syndrome. Simon sticks up for the boy at school when bullies pick on him. Meanwhile, Annie takes matters into her own hands when she horrifyingly learns from Lucy that Ruthie's teacher has reportedly been calling her "stupid." Simon unknowingly hurts Mary's feelings with something he said to her earlier, and Matt puts his girlfriend Shana on the silent treatment when he contemplates calling things off.

  • When the episode first aired on Hallmark Channel, they cut out the word "butt" during Mary and Lucy's conversation about what was making her upset with Simon.
  • Michael Milhoan, who guest stars in this episode as Bill Carver, later goes on to star as Bill Larsen in the short-lived WB comedy Do Over and Dante Pacino in Something So Right.

Goofs & Errors[]

  • Simon tells Bobby that his mom and dad don't believe in video games. However, he has played them before, such as when he was seen playing a Gameboy in the 1st season episode "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil."
  • When Lucy and Mary are talking in the attic, Lucy says "Now that we actually do share a room" even though they shared a room since the beginning of the show even before they moved to the attic
