Synopsis
Eric tries his best to keep Annie occupied with her pregnancy project: learning how to play the piano.
Annie is a little happier when she discovers that she and Eric are to have twins.
Matt tries to get Heather back, only to discover that she's engaged and wants Eric to marry her and her fiance.
Mary gets her learner's permit, the only catch is, she can't parallel park.
Lucy is happy when Mary's former date, 17-year-old Jordan, is more interested in her. Things take a turn for the worse during Christmas when Jordan gets her present and his uncle's present mixed up. The present for his uncle was a shoe shine kit, and her present was supposed to be a basketball, with the words, I love you written on it.
Simon is devistated when he discovers that his girlfriend, Deena, has leukemia. He is even more upset when he discovers that Eric knew about the disease the whole time.
And little Ruthie pretends to be pregnant as well because she knows her thone as being baby of the family won't be hers forever.
