"Say Good-Bye" is the twentieth episode of the 1st season of 7th Heaven. On its original airing, this episode scored 2.93 million viewers.
Synopsis[]
Annie's best friend from high school, Rachel, returns to Annie's life and meets her family. When Matt answers the door, she immediately begins an attraction/obsession with him. Things heat up when she tries to kiss him, but he backs away. Later, Rachel tells Annie that it was Matt who tried to kiss her. Meanwhile, Simon 'accidentally crushes' Ruthie's imaginary friend, yet she seems determined to abandon the figment, refusing a goodbye party. Elsewhere, Lucy's best friend's mom got a job trough Eric, but it's so far they must move. Lastly, Mary goes to a coffeehouse with Matt and Rachel and learns that the band's singer didn't show up which she then makes her singing debut.
Trivia[]
- Jessica Biel makes her singing debut in this episode when her character, is singing a song in a coffeehouse. She sings "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man" and at the end of the episode, "Respect", both by Aretha Franklin.
Goofs & Errors[]
- When Annie is making lunch for Lucy and her friend the bags are light blue with decals on them. But, when Lucy hands her friend the lunch, the bag is just blue and does not contain decals.
