- Lou Dalton (Alan Fudge) works for Glenoak Community Church as head deacon. He first appears in Season 1's "Faith, Hope and the Bottom Line," objecting to Eric's plan to hire an ex-convict as the new organist when Mrs. Hinkle retires. In "Rush to Judgment" Season 2, Lou was been caught stealing from the church because he needed money to help care for his autistic son. At series' end he resigns as head deacon and moves away from Glenoak.
