Lucy gets in trouble for skipping a Habitat for Humanity project to go on a date. Matt is very depressed because Shana is moving to New York, and he's not paying attention to Simon, who just wants to spend time with his big brother. Ruthie is making a lot of preparations for the millennium, until Eric provides her with a more grounded perspective.
Trivia[]
- In this episode, there are references to the Y2K crisis. This was a time when people were speculating that a computer virus would cause machines to stop working at midnight on December 31st, 1999. The reason for this was that the machines might get confused between the year 2000 and 1900 because of all the zeros.
