Synopsis[]

Wilson West has helped ingrate Mary through the whole summer, yet she only grows ruder and refuses to try walking without crutches. Meanwhile, murder victim widow, Nora, turns to Eric as last hope to arrange closure by meeting unwilling, unrepentant killer Martin in juvenile detention, which proves quite testing. Elsewhere, Eric suddenly decides to celebrate his wedding anniversary by arranging at short notice a marital vows renewal to make up for the shaggy wedding, which only eagerly accepts without realizing it's misery for all other relatives and (their) guests. Also, Simon worries the attic won't be ready in time to move away from Ruthie before school starts, but even after Matt's plan to make him believe it's haunted, accepts a six months delay for the brat's sake. To continue, Matt ultimately gets over jealousy for Heather's Canadian house-guest Ted Shields and invites both to his parent's second wedding. And finally, Lucy agonizes over life as Jimmy Moon's ex and changes her mind after inviting him with his new girlfriend.
