After Eric gives the family a big scare and the paramedics are called to the house, Annie realizes Eric has been hiding the truth from her and she's determined to find out what it is.
Meanwhile, Lucy pays a surprise visit to Sandy, who appears to be falling in love with her classmate, Daniel, while Martin continues to pursue her as well.
Additionally in the episode, series star Beverley Mitchell sings a song, "Have You Ever Loved an Angel," from her upcoming self-titled country CD, Beverley Mitchell.

- To involve Martin and Sandy with the main cast, Beverley Mitchell (Lucy Kinkirk) filmed her scenes in New York, where they were in order for Haylie Duff to finish performing in Hairspray.
